The one and only Multi-Purpose Fighting Machine designed for battle is the Evangelion Unit Two Prototype. The pilot that is suitable enough to control this prototype is a girl name Sohryu Asuka Langley, the "Second Children"( The "Second Qualifier"). Age 14, but is active and full of confident. Asuka always wanted to be the best and so she gets jealous very easily if anyone is better than her.

          Asuka has undergo special training before so she is quite skilful in controlling the powerful Evangelion Unit Two Prototype. The Evangelion Unit Two Prototype is designed to be red in colour and having four eyes. The weapon that is compatible for this prototype is a powerful knife that has the abilities to cut through anything. Evangelion Unit Two Prototype is the first Evangelion to have a close combat with an Angel underwater.
